Dans une maison isolée, six jeunes gens bronzent lascivement. Ils s’ennuient et brûlent, allongés sous un gros soleil d’été. Ce sont des enfants de la nuit, du sommeil et du rêve. Ils viennent de partout et de nulle part ; cependant ils sont là, unis comme une tribu. Ils rêvent de plonger dans l’eau, mais la piscine est vide et ressemble à un tombeau.
At a strange villa six young people come together lazing under a summer sun. They are children of the night, children of dreams, coming from everywhere and nowhere, they are here, united like a tribe.

Après une licence en arts visuels et cinématographiques à la Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) et un master en réalisation à la London Film School, Maxence Vassilyevitch devient lauréat 2014 du G.R.E.C. avec son court-métrage Je suis présent. Il réalise en 2017 Saranac Lake, produit par Sedna Films avec le concours de la région Limousin. En 2018, il rejoint les Ateliers Médicis pour accompagner la réalisation de trois projets filmiques, Les Archipels. En 2019, il finalise Midnight Kids, film anniversaire pour les 50 ans du G.R.E.C en partenariat avec France 2. Il vient de terminer Planète X, un moyen métrage produit par les Films de La Capitaine en coproduction avec Rectangle Productions. Le scénario de son premier long métrage, Cosmos-Zoo, a reçu l’aide à la réécriture du CNC et de la Région Sud.

In 2014, After studying visual arts and cinema at La Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris III) and getting a master’s degree from The London Film School, Maxence Vassilyevitch directed his first short film with LE G.R.E.C., Je suis Présent [Sunny Star]. In 2017, he directed Saranac Lake, produced by Sedna films. In 2018 he joined les Ateliers Medicis in Clichy sous Bois, to mentor three film projects, Les Archipels. In 2019, he went to Alaska to direct the documentary Midnight Kids for the 50th anniversary of LE G.R.E.C. He has just finished Planète X, a medium length film produced by Les films de la Capitaine and Rectangle Productions. The script for his first feature film, Cosmos-Zoo has received a fund from CNC and Région Sud.
